All remaining holiday merchandise will be 50% off beginning December 26.  Our holiday hours are -

We will be closed on Sundays for the month of January, but will resume our normal hours the rest of the week.

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday is back!  After hitting the big-box stores for Black Friday bargains, we hope you will join us in supporting the small businesses in our community on Saturday, November 24.  Now in its third year, Small Business Saturday was started to help promote local businesses on retail's biggest weekend.  We encourage you to make a point to visit your favorite local shops and restaurants this weekend - not only will you be supporting a small business, you'll also be helping your community.

Of course, we'd be thrilled to have you celebrate Small Business Saturday with us at The Picket Fence!  We were blown away by the support you showed us last year, so this year we decided we'd like to pay it forward and help the community.  We've teamed up with a local food bank to help area families in need this holiday season.  We will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items for Food for Others all day on Saturday.  And as a way of saying thank you for helping us support such a wonderful organization, every person who brings a donation will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate for our store!

Just a reminder that we will be closed on Thursday in honor of Thanksgiving.  We wish you all a wonderful holiday and hope that you'll be "shopping small" this Saturday!

Frasier Fir

We admit it's a little early to be talking holidays, but there's really no need to wait until the holiday season to enjoy the wonderful fragrance of Frasier Fir.  And once we saw the beautiful new packaging, we just knew we had to show it off!  It's still the same great fragrance people have come to love - just packaged with a fresh new design.  We love the cheery red and white plaid on the special seasonal collection, as well as the crisp, modern take on the pine boughs that decorate the rest of the products.  We're well stocked with candles, diffusers and more, but given the popularity of this fragrance we're willing to bet we won't be for long!  Stop by soon to see the updated collection for yourself!

Fall Is In The Air

The past few days have definitely put us in the mood for fall.  Beautiful, sunny days and crisp, cool nights are a welcome change after the heat of summer.  Here at the store we're decked out for Autumn with leaves and berries and pumpkins galore!  We love the warm, rich colors that accompany fall and how they help make your home a little more cozy.  Need to fresh batch of fall potpourri?  A new wreath for the front door?  A few more pumpkins (you can never have too many!)?  Whatever you are looking for, we have a wide array of fall merchandise to help you welcome the season.

 

  

 

 

 

 

   

Celebrating 4 Years

The Picket Fence is turning 4!  That's right, it's our birthday and we want you to help us celebrate.  The past four years have flown by - it seems like just yesterday we were opening our doors for the very first time.  We've learned a lot, made some great new friends and had so much fun bringing unique gifts and home decor items to Burke.  As we celebrate 4 years in business, we'd like to take the opportunity to thank all our wonderful customers who have supported us over the years.  We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you!

Extra Discounts on Summer Sale

Summer is winding down and so is our annual Summer Sale.  There are still plenty of good deals to be found and we're about to make them even better.  Starting Wednesday, August 29 take an extra 50% off all Summer Sale merchandise!!  That's right, save half off our already reduced prices.  But you'd better hurry in - these extra savings only last through Sunday, September 2.  Once school starts, the sale is over and it's time to start thinking Fall.

It's time for our annual SUMMER SALE!!  We're cleaning house to make room for all the great new merchandise we have arriving for fall and that means savings for you.  We've marked down items throughout the store, so hurry in the for the best selection.  Sale starts Friday, July 20 - doors open at 10.  See you there!

Summer Fun

We're sure you've heard it before and will probably hear it again - that usual mid-summer complaint of  "I'm bored!"  Sure, the pool is fun, but only when the sun is shining.  Maybe you're planning a summer getaway and need some distractions for the car/plane ride.  Or maybe you just want to unplug all the electronics for a while.  We've got some great ideas for keeping kids entertained this summer.  Check out these great new arrivals -
