European Eggs

Just in time for Easter decorating, these gorgeous egg ornaments have arrived from Europe.  The real eggs are hand-painted by aritsans in Austria as part of a local cottage industry.  Each artisan specializes in a specific design and paints with amazing detail.  We fell in love with great spring flowers and bunnies, and of course we can never resist anything blue and white!

Beautiful Silhouettes

Another market find has arrived here at The Picket Fence.  We were so excited when we came across this talented artist in Atlanta and couldn't wait to share her work with you.  These lithographed silhouettes were originally hand-cut and paired with a backing of antique documents.  Working out of her studio in Michigan, the artist hand assembles and signs each piece. 

We've had these a little over a week now and the response has been amazing.  We're so glad you love them as much as we do!
