Introducing the Seeds Collection...a wonderful candle line we discovered at market that has finally arrived here at the shop!  Not only do these candles provide over 60 hours of great garden fragrances, but they also turn into beautiful flowers and plants. 

OK, maybe not the candles themselves, but each candle is packaged in a plantable box that will grow the plant from which the candle gets its scent.  The best part?  No green thumb needed!  Simply soak the packaging, bury it in soil, water and watch them grow!

They are all packaged using 100% FSC certified, 100% recycled materials and since the boxes are plantable, there is no excess packaging to throw away.

Available in six fragrances, these are really two gifts in one!  Great for candle lovers and the perfect "something different" for gardeners.

Spring Has Sprung

Gathering of Friends

Earlier this month we headed to Atlanta for our annual trip to the Gift and Home Furnishings Market in search of great new products for the store.  Although it can be a bit overwhelming, we never know what we'll find and we love wandering in and out of showrooms searching for lines that will be the perfect fit at The Picket Fence.  We found some wonderful new products and even got a jump on Christmas 2012!  (Crazy, we know, but if we don't order now we won't have it in December!)  Most of our new lines will be arriving over the next few weeks, but we were so excited when our first market order arrived today that we had to share it with you!

Introducing "The Gathering of Friends" - the newest addition to our cookbook selections.  These beautiful cookbooks are filled with recipes that are tried and true, along with meal plans that any cook, novice or gourmet, can create.

As the holiday season winds down, we'd like to take a minute to thank everyone who came by to support the shop this year.  We couldn't do this without you and we appreciate all of our wonderful customers!  Thank you for making 2011 a great year here at The Picket Fence...we look forward to seeing you all in 2012!
