Last Days of Summer Sale

Labor Day means the end of summer - here at The Picket Fence it also means the end of our Summer Sale.  And while all good things must come to an end, that doesn't mean they can't go out with a bang!  Stop by this weekend to take advantage of an additional 50% off all sale items!  There are still bargains to be had and with the extra discount, the deals are even better - up to 80% off!  The extra savings will begin on Friday and run through Sunday.  We will be closed on Monday for the Labor Day holiday.  We hope to see you soon!

On Vacation

Just a quick post to let you know that we will be closed Saturday, June 28 - Sunday, July 6.  We're sneaking out of town for a quick family vacation, but we'll be back before you know it!  Our normal hours will resume Monday, July 7.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to seeing you when we return!

Our newest arrivals, these bags have already been flying out the door!  We love the fun colors and patterns.  Just in time for vacation season, these bags would be great for travel or trips to the beach!

These wood signs from Wisconsin have long been a customer favorite.  We just received a HUGE shipment including several new sizes and phrases.  Some will tug at her heartstrings, while others will make her laugh out loud.  They also have many other phrases available as kitchen towels.

Also just restocked, our hand-painted wine glasses continue to be a big hit!  Invite Mom to relax after a long day and enjoy her favorite wine in her own special glass.  They are all hand-painted by a local artist.

Fresh Produce

When we stumbled upon this candle line at market, we were drawn in by the amazing packaging and unique fragrances.  Once we discovered it was the newest creation from the makers of our popular Rewined candles, we knew it would be a perfect fit for the store!  And after weeks of waiting, the candles have finally arrived!

We love the cute canning jar-style containers with great graphic prints.  Once the candle is gone, these would be perfect for keeping items contained in the kitchen.

They are available in a variety of fragrances drawn from the garden, including kale and radish!

All natural soy wax means a long, clean burn with no sooty mess.

We were equally excited to discover our other new garden-themed arrivals.  These great plant markers are made from vintage silverware that has been hammered flat.  Stick one in a potted plant for an extra special hostess or housewarming gift.

Also available in a set of four herb markers.

Perhaps our favorite new item in this collection is the herb kit.  Available in dill, oregano, basil and parsley these are the perfect gift for the gardener in your life!  Each kit contains a seed paper for one of the herbs and a matching silverware marker.  Simply plant the paper, stick your marker in and wait for fresh herbs to bloom!
